There are certain experiences and people, certain movements of our bodies or words that suddenly fill us with total happiness. Often this happens unexpectedly, but why not look deeper into the causes of those moments of happiness?
I did, and my first small list looks like this:
being with people I love (obvious!),
waking up healthy to a new day,
doing walking meditation in nature,
eating my picnic sandwich mindfully,
dancing to my favourite music,
taking care of my garden, and
writing something that expresses my love for life.
Take some time to reflect on the different sources of your happiness. What or who can immediately catapult you into that special feeling that makes you shine? Write down those sources, look them up actively, and shine more often! 🙂
