Humour Helps

A person with a good sense of humour has many positive qualities, but first and foremost she doesn’t take herself too seriously. She has a certain distance to herself. This person can laugh at her own defects, her mistakes, and at the nonsense she says or does. That puts others at ease in her company, since this person’s ego is not so all-pervasive that there’s no room for others.
With witty comments or jokes you’re not only spreading smiles, but you also spread a relaxed feeling around. Isn’t that a great goal?
If we loosen the grip around our egos, life becomes so much easier, and so much more fun. And we all know how many positive effects laughter has in our bodies and minds!
