Share Your Creativity

Are you aware of what talents you have? Do you explore and develop them?
And if so: do you share them with the world?
For me, this has been a journey in precisely these three steps:
1. Getting aware of my talents
2. Taking the time to explore and develop them
3. Finding out how to share them with others, and do it
It sounds easy to discover your talents, but they aren’t always that obvious (see blog post “Which Are Your Strengths?”).
It’s a wonderful experience to explore and develop your talents: working with what you’re good at makes you forget time and place and you can discover amazing things! ☺
However, the jewel in the crown is to share them with others.
That part is more difficult. How do you share your painting talent, if you’re not a Rembrandt? How do you share your writing talent, if you’re not a Stephen King?
Start small: try DIY creativity!
• Do your own greeting cards
• Paint old furniture with your own designs
• Compose poems for your beloved ones
• Write snail mail letters to family & friends
Even though you’re still working on your masterpiece, you train by doing these little things, and at the same time you share your creativity with others.
I find that very rewarding!

This one actually wasn't shared ;-)
